I ordered my tree in the summer I believe just to make sure that I had it in time for Christmas. In order to make it the best I got black wire lights which only come around Halloween to blend in with the tree. And with the step on light switch I had two different trees. One with the clear lights that come with it and one with the color lights that I could add with the clear ones. I just loved being able to swtich like that. If I had enough money I could have gotten my sisters one. I'm sure to come to treetopia again for a different color for this year.

I've been looking to do a really elegant all-black Christmas tree for a year or two, but the ones I was finding in local stores were not full enough or too small. I have a home with contemporary/modern furnishings and wanted something unique that would compliment my style. I placed my hopes in the many positive reviews of this tree and purchased the 7.5" tall tuxedo tree. I could not be more thrilled! The quality puts the black trees I saw in stores to shame. The "needles" are a highly reflective, shiny black plastic that reflects the lights beautifully. It only took around 15 minutes to set the tree up.

I was very impressed with the tree; however the description should say the ends of the branches are dark green not black. Other than that one detail my husband and I are very impressed. [...] Keep up the good work!

This is a beautiful tree. The "needles" are shiny, which adds a nice sparkle without looking cheap or tacky. We have had the tree for three years now. When we set it up this year we realized that a couple of light strings were completely broken. Unfortunately, it is impossible to replace strings of lights on pre-lit trees. Also, bulbs tend to burn out very quickly. But we like the tree so much that we will probably buy a replacement for next Christmas.

I am happy with the little trees. My only thoughts are for the price I paid they should have been perfectly uniform. They are good, just not superior.

If you're looking for a black tree, choose this one! I love that it is somewhat two-tone with its gray-black edges on the branches, it gives it a certain depth. This is my first fake tree, so I can't compare others with the fullness or amount of lights, but this is perfect for me; any less and I think it would look sad. Many people said it didn't even look black until they got close up- which is good if you have super traditional family members who are offended by a non-green tree :) However, we knew it was black, it looks black in our pictures and I cannot wait to put it up again this year!

This black tree is very full. It hides the green wire of Christmas lights too. The black accents all the trimings. I knew it would be unique, but I didn't know it would be the perfect tree for my family.

When my boss said she wanted to order a black tree to put in the office to go with the theme of our logo, I was a little concerned. This is the best looking tree we found while online shopping, and when we finally got it up, it's gorgeous! I LOVE it! Very easy to set up. We went with the prelit tree just to make things easier for us year after year. I'm very impressed with the product and just the overall look of the tree!

I was expecting it to have branches to the floor like the picture. I use gift card and place them in the tree not a lot of packages under the tree. I was thinking it would be perfect for that but I'll make it work. I was still very pleased and my husband isn't so upset that I got a black one to match my decore now that he has seen it decorated so beautiful in black, choc brown, red and gold. The light bulb sockets are not the same size as hallmark ornaments, so I had to add another string of lights so I could plug them in. I have over thirty star trek ornaments. They look really good on a black tree with white lights.

I made a NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS tree with this item. I will say the size is perfect for smaller areas.
