Comments:

The first year, I expected some shedding, this was excessive. The second year, when we got it out of the bag, there appeared to be more tinsel in the bag than on the tree. I didn't even try it last year and this year it and its bag full of tinsel and bald limbs got pushed all the way to the back of the storage building.

Comments:

I bought the 7 foot Tinkerbell for my new-to-me "midcentury modest" home. I weeded out my accumulated decorations during the move but still had enough to give this a "home decorated" look. I hope it holds up for several years of use. I also ordered the color wheel which was a disappointment, an overpriced and overheated cheap item. I returned it, truly concerned about safety with grandchildren. This tree is so bright that it doesn't need a color wheel. I turned the wheel on some unlit tinsel trees, and it wasn't impressive there either. I love the step-on off/on toggle.

I really love this Christmas Tree! I love how it fades within the colors!! They need to make more trees like this design in different colors for homes such as mines that are Modern Contemporary with colors!! The only problem with this Christmas tree is that it's not as wide as the Black tuxedo Christmas tree that Treetopia sales!! It would also be cool if this Modern Christmas Tree came with a remote control!!

I received my tree yesterday and installed it today. It is absolutely not what I expected. The tree does not look like the picture. It is very sparse. Totally disappointed. See attached pics. I will be calling the company tomorrow.

Comments:

The 3rd time is a charm. First, we ordered the 7'5" Silver Stardust, which arrived in a broken box damaged in shipping (branches broken off, tinsel peeled off, metal branches exposed) with a non-working row of lights. To our surprise, they wouldn't replace the damaged tree and after an hour on the phone, they gave us only one option: to receive a string of lights as a temp fix, wait a year for a "section replacement" that wouldn't ship until next fall (!) Or we had to order a new tree and pay; no replacement from Tretopia, not even a discount or expedited shipping on the new tree. Ouch! Such poor customer service, no initiative to shop with them again by making it up to the customer or easier to replace a damaged, broken tree. So if you have the misfortune to receive one, you're on your own, they'll give you nothing. Lastly, the 7'5" Silver Stardust was too tall for our 9' ceilings, too wide (58"! Make sure to measure), and since we had to pay for two trees, we ordered the 6' Silver Stardust, which was NOT 6' and was as tall as me, 5'4". SMALL. I once again made the mistake of calling (non) customer service, who proceeded to tell me I could have "opened a warranty" on the first tree for a replacement instead of having to purchase another, which infuriated me, as I had spent an hour before inquiring about this and was told it wasn't an option--which was why I purchased a second tree. I was told it was "too late" to do anything now. I said the least they could do to make up for their error was to comp the $18.99 return shipping for the too small, not 6' tree, which they refused to do. Awful. Again, they gave no incentive to shop with them again. Didn't want to give them more business, so searched everywhere yet could not find a quality 7' tree for the price. Caved for the 7' Tinkerbell and it was perfection, far more beautiful than the Stardust, more vintage with its "wild" look, and contrary to other reviews, shed FAR less than the 2 Stardusts. Tree: A+ Treetopia: F

After 30 min fluffing here, even better after an hour. Gorgeous, Mid-Century!

This silver tree comes alive and the light dances across it. It is so beautiful in person. The comments about it shedding a lot did not apply to my experience. I was prepared for shedding after I read reviews but thankfully, I found little to no shedding YAY!

I love my Silver Tree! I get so many compliments! It's easy to set up and take down. Looks luxurious and expensive. Only drawback is that it sheds... it sheds.... it sheds. Did I mention it sheds???

Comments:

I purchased this tree in 2012, and I was thrilled. I had this item shipped to Canada, and it came right away. It's stunning out of the box. It light up a room like magic, and is so unique. The first 2 years, it was perfect. Then the problems started. Chunks of lights stopped working, and I checked every bulb to no avail -- so I had to supplement with additional lights. The wiring was faulty, I think. Even with the extra lights, it still looked pretty and sparkly. Then, the needles started to shed a lot -- when I threw it out after Christmas of 2015, almost all the branches were bare. Tinsel fell off in handfuls if you even looked at the thing -- it shed a LOT of tinsel. ALL the tinsel, in fact. It was raining piles of silver constantly in my living room. I filled endless vacuum canisters over the course of 5 weeks last Christmas and it drove me nuts. This is beyond "normal" shed --- this was tinsel shed so thick you couldn't see the carpet week after week. It was like a real tree that was dying and all the needles falling off. At the end of the season, I was itching to get it OUT. I was even considering throwing it out before Christmas because it looked so bad without the needles. I dragged my sad, unlit, naked tinsel tree to the curb. Only 4 Christmases. It was really a waste. I didn't bother to ship it back because of the cost to ship from Canada. Would not recommend this tree, despite how pretty it was when we first got it.

This tree is beautiful. It does shed some and did have a branch break when bending to shape....but glistens at night when lights are on. Wish it was a little bigger but on a strict budget!

Comments:

For several years I have looked for a large, full silver Christmas tree. Most of the nontraditional trees I found were short, narrow, and sparse. When I took my search online, I stumbled across a few full-looking silver trees, but I was hesitant to buy a tree online sight-unseen, and especially not for the many hundreds of dollars that they typically cost. When I found this 7.5' tree on Treetopia for a decent price, and I read the specs and reviews, I finally decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This tree is every bit as magnificent as I had hoped it would be, and everyone else who has seen it loves it. Set-up was a breeze, though I did spend quite some time fluffing and adjusting the branches. But now that it's done, I don't anticipate having to invest so much time on that next year. As other reviewers have mentioned, it shed a lot while I was fussing with it, but I have not had much mess since then. One extra bonus that I didn't realize when I bought it -- it has a light switch on the cord so that you don't have to unplug the tree to turn off the lights. I have had three other pre-lit trees over the past decade, and none of them have had that feature. I included a picture of the tree without any decorations. It's so gorgeous on its own that I'm almost inclined to not bother decorating it...almost.
